Production Line
For the production of heavy duty rack upright profiles, we recommend separating the punching and roll forming processes into two independent lines.
1. Flow Chart
(1) Punching line: Decoiler → Leveling machine → Punch machine → Recoiler
(2) Roll forming line: Decoiler → Roll forming machine → Cut-off → Out table
After punching, the perforated coil is recoiled and transferred to the roll forming line for profile forming.

Machine Details
Steel Coil Decoiler
Steel coil decoiler is used to unwind metal coils smoothly for feeding into roll forming, cutting, or punching processes.
Manual decoiler is a basic and economical option, while motorized and hydraulic decoilers are also available for higher efficiency and automation:

Optional: Leveler
The leveler is designed to eliminate coil set and internal stress, ensuring flat and stable strip feeding into the punching section.
It is especially recommended for materials thicker than 1.5 mm, where deformation is more significant. By improving strip flatness, it directly enhances punching accuracy, die life, and overall line stability.
Servo Feeder
The servo feeder ensures precise and synchronized material feeding into the punching system through programmable control.
It delivers high positioning accuracy for hole spacing, even at high speeds. This reduces cumulative errors, and enables flexible production of complex hole patterns required in structural and industrial profiles.
Punching Unit
(1) Hydraulic Punching Machine
The hydraulic punching machine provides greater flexibility for customized hole designs and thicker materials. It operates with adjustable force and stroke, making it suitable for complex patterns or lower-speed applications. This solution is ideal for projects requiring versatility, precision under heavy load, and easier tooling adjustments.
(2) Punch Press
The punch press is a high-speed mechanical punching system suitable for continuous mass production.
It offers fast stroke rates and excellent repeatability, making it ideal for standardized hole patterns. Compared to hydraulic systems, it delivers higher efficiency and productivity, especially for thinner materials and large-volume manufacturing.
Recoiler
The recoiler collects the punched strip efficiently after processing, ensuring neat and controlled recoiling for storage or downstream operations. It maintains strip tension and alignment, preventing material damage or disorder. This improves handling efficiency, reduces labor intensity, and supports continuous, automated production flow.
PLC Control Cabinet & Encoder
In a cold roll forming line, the encoder works with the PLC to provide real-time feedback on material position and speed, ensuring precise feed, synchronized forming, and accurate length control for cutting and punching.
Production speed, product length, and quantity can be set on the control cabinet. The display language can be customized according to customer requirements.
Other Customization Details
The machine comes standard with a blue main color and orange accents. Other colors can be customized free of charge.
The default metal nameplate is Goalon, which can also be customized at no additional cost.
