Metal bond roof tile is widely used for residential, commercial, and light industrial roofing systems. It features a stamped and interlocking tile-like profile with a strong 3D surface effect, which enhances drainage performance, wind resistance, and overall architectural appearance.
Due to its durability and decorative roofing effect, it is widely adopted in Africa, Southeast Asia, South America, and other developing construction markets.
Metal bond roof tile is typically produced from 0.3–0.6 mm thick galvanized steel, galvalume steel, or pre-painted steel (PPGI/PPGL). These materials provide excellent corrosion resistance, weather protection, and long service life, making the roof suitable for harsh outdoor environments.

Steel coil decoiler is used to unwind metal coils smoothly for feeding into roll forming, cutting, or punching processes.

Roll Forming Machine
The roll forming machine is the core unit of the metal bond roof tile line, shaping steel coils into precise tile profiles through multiple forming stages. It ensures accurate interlocking structure, stable dimensions, and smooth coated surface without damage.
With a rigid frame and precision rollers, it runs stably in continuous production. Adjustable settings support different designs and 0.3–0.6 mm coated steel, ensuring reliable forming accuracy and consistent roofing quality.

Cutting & Punching Unit
The hydraulic embossing unit is used to create the realistic 3D overlap effect of metal bond roof tiles, forming the visual “tile-over-tile” appearance required for glazed roof aesthetics. The embossing molds are customized according to the specific tile profile requested by the customer, ensuring accurate matching with the final roofing design and improving decorative value.
After embossing, the hydraulic cutting system performs clean shearing of the panel with no burrs or deformation. This production line adopts a stop-and-cut configuration, meaning the roll forming machine pauses while embossing and cutting are executed on a fixed base, ensuring stability and precision.
For higher productivity requirements, a flying cutting solution can also be offered, allowing continuous production without stopping the line.

Safety Designs
Chain covers are installed to protect operators and extend chain service life. Full-machine mesh covers (slidable) provide visibility with safety. Flip-type covers ensure convenient access with enhanced protection.
Safety signs are applied to continuously alert operators.
PLC Control Cabinet & Encoder
In a cold roll forming line, the encoder works with the PLC to provide real-time feedback on material position and speed, ensuring precise feed, synchronized forming, and accurate length control for cutting and punching.
Production speed, product length, and quantity can be set on the control cabinet. The display language can be customized according to customer requirements.
Other Customization Details
The machine comes standard with a blue main color and orange accents. Other colors can be customized free of charge.
The default metal nameplate is Goalon, which can also be customized at no additional cost.

Based on the actual configuration of each machine, we customize the installation manual and operating manual. During the testing phase and before shipment, we record installation and operation videos for guidance.
The standard configuration operates at 15–20 m/min. Higher-end configurations can reach 30–40 m/min, and even higher speeds can be customized according to specific production requirements.
Lead times range from 30-50 days post-order, varying by customization level and supplier location. We typically require 45 days for standard machines.
